Logobee Review and Customer Feedback

In this report we review Logobee and the online custom logo design services that they provide to businesses. The report includes general information on their packages, prices, services and guarantee policy. Towards the end we try to assess consumer sentiment regarding this firm by highlighting some of the customer feedback and complaints relating to their services.

Overview

Founded in the year 2000 Logobee.com has been providing their clients with custom logo design services for nearly ten years. They are located in Montreal in the Canadian province of Quebec and hire a team of seven designers.

Design Packages and Prices

Logobee offer a variety of five different packages. Their basic or ‘special package’ costing $298 provides customers with six different initial design concepts. The design that the customer chooses can then be altered to meet the client’s tastes during six rounds of revisions. At least two designers work on each project.

For $389 customers can order their ‘silver package’ that includes eight initial logo concepts and unlimited revisions.

The three packages beyond the above range in price from $425 to $1199 and these include additional design services such as stationery and website design. They also offer brochure design, illustrations, Microsoft Word templates and printing services outside of the above package inclusions.

They are also able to update logos for companies who feel that theirs has become out of date and needs refreshing or has become irrelevant and needs a complete re-design.

Customers own the full legal rights to the final logo designs that Logo Bee creates for them and they are able to register trademarks on these designs.

Guarantee Policy

Logobee has a satisfaction guarantee. If customers don’t like any of their initial design samples then they are provided with at least six more to choose from.

They do have a money-back guarantee but it doesn’t apply to their basic ‘special package’ and refunds on other packages incur a $10 charge. If design work has commenced on one of your samples or if three or more changes have been carried out at the time of the request then no refund is given.

Delivery Time

Logo Bee custom logo designs are delivered within five business days. If logos require revisions then they are generally processed within 24 hours. Initial concepts are uploaded to the Logobee.com site and clients can log in and view these samples before finalizing the design or requesting alterations.

File Formats

Files are delivered in GIF, JPEG, AI, EPS, TIFF and PNG-24 (transparent) format by email once the client has approved the final design. Scalable Vector files are included so logos are able to be scaled or re-sized without losing any of the image quality.

Design Awards and Ratings

Logobee has been awarded numerous awards for their logo designs including top honors at the Summit Creative Awards and an award at the 2006 American Design Awards.

Design Portfolio

You can view a large portfolio of logo designs completed by LogoBee on their website. Set out into industry categories such as ‘Corporate’, ‘Sports’ and ‘Entertainment’ Logos their portfolio includes hundreds of samples of their work.

Assessment of Opinion and Reviews on the Internet 

In an attempt to find out if there are any disgruntled clients who felt scammed or were highly critical of the Logobee service we searched the Internet looking for any positive or negative opinions or reviews. We only found one opinion from a user who had used the service and we have summarized this particular consumer’s complaint below.

1) One LogoBee review on RipoffReport.com in 2007 that they had been satisfied with their first few orders but were now unable to get a response out of Logobee by phone or email. They were unable to get the logo design that they ordered or get their credit card refunded.
